  1. Beautiful job on the press release, Lanae. The service you offer will allow large and small business owners to spend more time on marketing and other important business building activities. They won’t have to be held hostage to their computers to accomplish visibility and credibility at social networking sites.

Although your press release is ideal for submission to online press release sites, it would most likely bring up a red flag as too much of a sales pitch for traditional reporters and/or editors of offline publications. They will usually not publish any press release that even “hints” at a self-promoting sales message.

Wishing you tremendous success with Social Networking Nanny,
    Melanie Kissell

  2. Melanie,
With online press releases it’s a little different than traditional. It’s newsworthy that this new business launched. Is it newsworthy enough to get an article? Probably not.

It’s more for online distribution and exposure than to reach traditional media. In other words, search engine results.

People regularly post press releases on news like: we are on Facebook now! Not that exciting but now when someone types in their company name their Facebook Page will probably be one of the top results.

    Here’s to your success Lanae!

  3. I can see that you are an expert in this field! I am launching a website soon, and this information is very useful for me. Thanks for all your help and wishing you all the success in your business.
