1. How long have you been using Social Networking for your business?
2. Is your business using Facebook &/or Twitter?
I use Facebook, Twitter & YouTube.
3. Facebook vs Twitter – do you like one better? If yes, why?
I like Twitter more than Facebook. I like Twitter better for the way
people communicate with it and the flow of information on the stream.
4. Do you post daily?
Yes, I post quite frequently on Twitter, especially when I’m conducting a Twitterview. On Facebook maybe 1-5 times per day.
5. What is your favorite thing about Social Networking?
I love connecting with new and interesting people. I’m still amazed at
some of the people that I’ve been able to reach out to and connect with.
Many of those connections would have never have happened if it wasn’t
for Social Networking.
6. What do you think is the biggest benefit of Social Networking?
You get a fuller picture of what’s going on in your “community”, weather that be locally, regionally or globally.
7. How do you measure Social Networking, & explain:
For what I do, ROI (Return on Investment) and ROR (Return on Relationship) would be the main
ways for me to measure my Social Networking results. My investment has
been time, money & energy, and I’ve gained much from what I’ve accomplished. I’ve received some wonderful guidance, direction and connections from my efforts. I also hope that I’ve been able to help a number of people in return.
8. What is the best moment you’ve had on a Social Networking site?
2010. It’s just taken off since then and I’ve gotten to Tweet and meet
with many amazing people.
9. What is your best piece of advice to other businesses about Social Networking?
For businesses, don’t use Social Networking as a place to only offer deals, let people know who you are, what you and your company represent and how you feel about your followers. Be genuine and people will connect with you.
