Twitter lists – Beta…what do you think?

Have you seen the new Beta Twitter Lists?

I just got the pop-up this afternoon, and I think it could be really good…especially if you are not a user of Seesmic or TweetDeck.

Suggestion:

First create the various list categories you would like to have – friends, media, etc, then go thru to chose what category you would like to put each person you follow in.

A big downside is this could take a very long time if you have a huge list of people you follow.

I’m sure I’ll be discovering more about this new function over the next few days, but let’s get the conversation started.

What are your thoughts?

  1. I’ve been off the social networking radar for about three weeks now – – – been busy moving to a new neighborhood. I just returned to the net today and noticed the Twitter “Lists” feature. I really like the concept and I feel it will be a good organizational tool. You’re right, though. For folks with huge numbers of followers, it’s going to be a pretty big undertaking to place every one of them in a particular category.
